          LAN Airlines is a group of South American Airlines, based in Santiago, and the flag carrier of Chile, which was founded in 
March 1929 as Lan Chile and was taken over by LAN of Brazilian TAM Airlines in June 2012. The airline is headquartered in Las Condes, Santiago Province 
and operates scheduled services to 66 destinations from its hub at the Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport. It is a predominant airline 
in Chile and Peru and the second largest airline in Argentina, Colombia and Ecuador. It is a member of the Oneworld alliance since 2000.
